Do we have all of the information that we need to make informed decisions with regard to our personal health care and that of our loved ones?

One would think, with the advent of the Internet and the subsequent explosion of available information as the net has continues to grow, that people would be making better decisions in terms of their physical health.  The truth of the matter is that many people are suffering from information overload and are having a difficult time discerning good information from bad.

To further complicate matters a government advisory board (the US government), as reported by the NY Times on Wednesday (12/22/11), has asked scientific journals to cease reporting certain information regarding bio-medical experiments which they believe would aid terrorists in creating deadly viruses which could be used to touch off epidemics.

It seems that experiments conducted in the US and the Netherlands scientists have created a highly transmissible form of a deadly flu virus that does not normally spread from person to person.  This particular virus (H5N1) rarely infects human beings has an extraordinarily high death rate when it does.

This virus was first detected in 1997 of the some 600 people who have contracted it more than half have lost their lives due to the infection.  Nearly all have caught it from birds, and most cases have been in Asia. Scientists have watched the virus, worrying that if it developed the ability to spread easily from person to person, it could create one of the deadliest pandemics ever.

“A government advisory panel, the National Science Advisory Board for Biosecurity, overseen by the National Institutes of Health, has asked two journals, Science and Nature, to keep certain details out of reports that they intend to publish on the research. The panel said conclusions should be published, but not “experimental details and mutation data that would enable replication of the experiments.”  Reports the Times.

Bruce Alberts, the science editor of the publication, stated in his piece that although the NSAB cant force the publications to comply with their request, the well respected journal, Science & Nature, is seriously considering the recommendations of the panel and would more than likely withhold some information from the public in the name of national security.

Is this a form of censorship?  Might it do more harm than good?

Apparently these studies, one at the Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam, in the Netherlands, and the other at the University of Wisconsin-Madison — were paid for by the National Institutes of Health.  Now the NIH is a government agency which is wholly supported by our tax dollars and is subsidized by the Department of Health and Human Services.

David R. Franz, a biologist who formerly headed the Army defensive biological lab at Fort Detrick, Md., is on the board and said its decision to intervene, made in the fall, was quite reasonable.
“My concern is that we don’t give amateurs — or terrorists — information that might let them do something that could really cause a lot a harm,” he said in an interview.   “It’s a wake-up call,” Dr. Franz added. “We need to make sure that our best and most responsible scientists have the information they need to prepare us for whatever we might face.”

Ronald M. Atlas, a microbiologist at the University of Louisville and past president of the American Society for Microbiology, who has advised the federal government on issues of germ terrorism, said the hard part of the recommendations would be creating a way to move forward in the research with a restricted set of responsible scientists.
He said that if researchers had a better understanding of how the virus works, they could develop better ways to treat and prevent illness. “That’s why the research is done,” he said.
The government, Dr. Atlas added, “is going to struggle with how to get the information out to the right people and still have a barrier” to wide sharing and inadvertently aiding a terrorist. “That’s going to be hard.”

Basically what we have here is the US Government sponsoring the creation of deadly viruses and then inhibiting the studies needed to prevent and treat the very illness that they themselves have created.  It seems that this H5N1 virus is the result of modifying the genetic sequencing of the H1N1 virus which caused the 1918 pandemic which killed up to 100 million people.

It is believed by many that the same such experiments, being carried out in Mexico by an American based company working on the development of a vaccine for the H1N1 virus, was the cause of the 2009 pandemic due to the virus not being contained within the confines of the laboratory.

Now I completely understand the need to protect our national security.  I also agree that if this information happened to fall into the wrong hands that is has the potential to cause devastating harm to our citizenry and people the world over.  I can even understand, to a point, the need to suppress such information.

What I don’t understand is why the government has taken an active roll in the creation of a new virus to begin with, using our tax dollars to do so, and then impede the scientific community from finding a remedy for the potential danger that they themselves have created.

The bottom line here is that no matter what the reasons the people are on the hook again.  Our very lives may hang in the balance.  We know that the mortality rate of the H1N1 virus has been very low since 2009.  Each year since then, at its seasonal apex, the mortality rate has been at a steady average of between 8% & 9% and the rate of infection has declined.

What we don’t know is what effect this H1N1 hybrid (H5N1), for lack of a better term, will have on our population if it ever does get out into the open.  This in my opinion is something to be very concerned about.

We know that H5N1 has a mortality rate of about 50% (6-7 times higher than H1N1)

We know that the scientific community doesn’t know how to kill the virus.

We know that one of the worlds leading authorities on the subject believes that this government intrusion may cause set backs in the discovery and development of a remedy for the virus and the subsequent infections caused by it.

We also know that certain information is more than likely going to be suppressed and hidden from the public.

How confident are you that the government and or the scientific community are working in your best interest?

Are you willing to put your trust in people who are in the business of creating deadly biological  organisms?

Are you ready to protect the lives of yourselves and your loved ones?

Ladies and gentlemen this article is not being written to put a scare into anyone.  It is a warning shot across your bow.  It is being written to get your attention.  I am not asking you to believe me.  In fact I encourage you to do your due diligence and discover the truth for yourselves.

Two years ago we wrote that the so called H1N1 pandemic was much to do about nothing.  Yes I know that some people did contract the virus and that some even died from it.  I wish with all of my heart that  this truth could be changed.  But it can’t.  The light at the end of the tunnel however is that the number of deaths ended up being a fraction of what the CDC and the WHO were claiming.  Thank God for that!

Last year I wrote an article which broached the idea that there was going to be a paradigm shift in the way conventional medicine was going to look at preventative medicine and that vaccinations were going to be the center piece of this shift.  What was written in this article has and is continuing to come to pass. In this article I am again sending out a warning to my readers.  Do all that you can do to optimize your body’s  immune system response as so as you can.  It is far better to be safe than sorry my friends.

Take the load off of your immune system!

AUSTRALIAN SCIENTISTS IN SWINE FLU BREAKTHROUGH

Seaweed Derivative Shown to Inhibit H1N1 Virus

In a breakthrough that offers new hope for the containment of influenza outbreaks, an Australian biotechnology company has isolated a natural extract from seaweed which has been shown to inhibit the H1N1 virus.

The extract – known as Maritech® 926 – is a fucoidan compound derived from the Undaria pinnatifida species of seaweed. In vitro tests performed under contract by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in the US, have shown that Maritech® 926 can inhibit the H1N1 influenza virus at extremely low concentrations.

Developed by biotechnology company Marinova Pty Ltd, Maritech® 926 is a natural polysaccharide which has immediate market potential in nutritional supplements, hand washes and nasal delivery products which target the spread and prevention of viral conditions. Scope also exists for the compound to be included in pharmaceutical and medical device applications. As a result of these findings, Marinova has filed for patent protection over the application of Maritech® 926 and other fucoidan extracts in a range of anti-viral applications.

It is believed that there will be 50million doses of the H1N1 vaccines available by the end of August and another 150million available sometime around the end of September. This leaves some 150million Americans “unprotected” against the virus.

The question here? Is this a blessing or a curse?

The bottom line is that this vaccine, which is being produced by 5 American companies, is being prepared for mass injection into infants, children, teens and adults has not been tested. The fact is that it will not be tested before the injections begin. This makes those receiving the injections the test subjects or ginnie pigs. Although this practice is uncommon to the American heal care system it is a normal practice in Europe where The European Medicines Agency is allowing companies to skip the testing process entirely. Even more interesting is that when the National Institutes of Health in the U.S. announced a swine flu vaccine trial beginning in early August, it was inundated with phone calls and emails from people desperate to play the role of human guinea pigs. Truly Amazing!

Especially alarming is that there is no safety data available on the use of adjuvants on infants and pregnant women who are particularly susceptible to the N1H1 virus. An immunological adjuvant is an agent in the serum intended to stimulate the immune system and increase the response to a vaccine. In addition, as it was recently unveiled by the Washington Post, many doses of the new H1N1 vaccine will be stored in multi dose vials which will contain thimerosal (mercury in its most common form used as a preservative). Due to the use of thimerosal in vaccines given to kids during the 1976 swine flu scare, the number of cases of autism has increased by 1500 percent since 1991. This number corresponds to the period of time during which the number of vaccines for kids also increased. While in 1991 there was one kid diagnosed with autism for every 2500, today there are 166 kids diagnosed for the same 2500. These numbers as well as public pressure to stop using mercury in vaccines, has made forced some companies to allegedly reduce the amounts of thimerosal used in their products. This is not the case however in the new batches of the H1N1 vaccine.

I probably don’t need to remind you that in 1976, a failed swine flu vaccine caused irreparable damage to the nervous systems of hundreds of people, paralyzing many. Medical doctors gave the problem a name, of course, to make it sound like they knew what they were talking about: Guillain-Barre syndrome. (Notably, they never called it “Toxic Vaccine Syndrome” because that would be too informative.)

But the fact remains that doctors never knew how the vaccines caused these severe problems, and if the same event played out today, all the doctors and vaccine pushers would undoubtedly deny any link between the vaccines and paralysis altogether.

Conclusion:

There is a great deal that we don’t know about this vaccine in terms of the potential health hazards it may pose to those subjected to it. What we do know however, that the adjuvants have not been tested on infants and pregnant women, that mercury is being used in the serum as a preservative and that it has bee proven, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that mercury is directly linked to autism.

It is also note worthy that influenza spreads around the world in seasonal epidemics, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of thousands annually — millions in pandemic years. Three influenza pandemics occurred in the 20th century and killed tens of millions of people, with each of these pandemics being caused by the appearance of a new strain of the virus in humans. Often, these new strains appear when an existing flu virus spreads to humans from other animal species, or when an existing human strain picks up new genes from a virus that usually infects birds or pigs. An avian strain named H5N1 raised the concern of a new influenza pandemic, after it emerged in Asia in the 1990s, but it has not evolved to a form that spreads easily between people.

The World Health Organization (WHO) reported yesterday (8/1/09) a total of 183,826 confirmed cases with 1,301 deaths from 167 countries. Two new countries reported to have been infected were Channel Island and Moldova. Please believe me when I say that I am not trying to understate the potential for a major health crisis here nor am I trivializing the single death of any individual.  What I am saying however is that based on statistics alone this H1N1 “Pandemic” is a blip on the radar when compared to the hundreds of thousands of influenza death’s that occur every year, yet it is being touted as some kind of black plague.

This simplistic yet sound advice is more applicable today than ever before.  It has been reported that thousands of  people in America alone have been infected with the H1N1 (Swine Flu) Virus.  There is however a greater danger lurking in the darkness that is receiving very little press.

According to the National Institutes of Health, over the past forty years, methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (CA-MRSA – “flesh eating” Pneumonia)) has changed from a usually controllable nuisance into a serious public health problem.  It is believed that the over use of antibiotics has caused this mutation and subsequently created an antibiotic-resistant bacteria.  In a paper published in the June (09) addition of The Lancet Infectious Diseases a type pf pneumonia is discussed that has proved fatal in 75% of reported cases.  At first, it was primarily one of the most common hospital-acquired infections. But in recent years, new strains of antibiotic-resistant bacteria, often dubbed “super bugs”, have popped up in communities and caused severe, even life-threatening infections in otherwise healthy people, involving the skin, heart, blood or bones.  The weakening of the immune system by the H1N1 virus has made people particularly susceptible to the CA-MRSA virus.  Since CA-MRSA  is a community acquired virus it is best to avoid hospitals at all costs if you have been effected by the H1N1 virus or any other malady that may have weakened your immune system.

Doctors at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta write in The Lancet Infectious Diseases article that CA-MRSA has become well known for causing skin and soft-tissue infections that are transmitted by person-to-person contact or contact with contaminated objects. However, now there are increasing cases of CA-MRSA caused pneumonia that kills lung tissue. And those becoming sick with the disease aren’t necessarily the old and/or physically weak. In fact, according to the report from the Emory team led by Alicia Hidron, MD, an infectious diseases fellow and Henry Blumberg, MD, professor of medicine and epidemiology at Emory, CA-MRSA pneumonia appears to most commonly affect young and previously healthy patients.

Dr. Hidron and Dr. Blumberg also noted in their paper that, besides causing a high fever, CA-MRSA pneumonia can sometimes cause low blood pressure that progresses to septic shock and requires patients to be placed on mechanical respirators in order to breathe. Another important point discussed in the article may turn out to have special relevance due to the emergence of H1N1 influenza, especially by the time flu season rolls around this fall: potentially deadly CA-MRSA pneumonia appears to occur most commonly following a flu-type illness.

Serious MRSA disease can strike anyone, regardless of age, health or where they live. Outbreaks have occurred among young athletes who play contact sports and among people living in close quarters, such as nursing homes, military facilities, nursing homes, and childcare centers.

The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases advises using these precautions to help prevent CA-MRSA infections:

Practice good hygiene.
Keep cuts and scrapes clean and bandage until healed.
Avoid contact with other people’s wounds or bandages.
Don’t share soiled or used personal items, such as towels, washcloths, razors, or clothes.
Use hot water and bleach to wash soiled sheets, towels and clothes.
